The Security & Infrastructure Consulting Group requires demonstrably experienced Infrastructure Consultant with a strong depth of experience in at least two of the following:

- Infrastructure strategy
- Data centre consolidation
- Infrastructure cost reduction
- Sustainable IT: Strategies, Technologies & Issues
- Large scale client desktop refreshes
- Unified communications (VOIP, mobile)
- Cloud and virtualisation
- Infrastructure security
- Automated, policy-based, infrastructure management solutions
- NOT a pure networks specialist and NOT an Infrastructure manager / service manager

In addition the following would be of advantage:

- Experience with or awareness of enterprise architecture methods such as IAF, or Zachman preferable
- Awareness of ITIL IT Management concepts

Job Description:
The successful individual will:

- Provide top level infrastructure consultancy services to our clients
- Provide input to the design of technical solutions as a recognised subject mater expert
- Provide input to bids and assist in presenting proposals to potential clients.
- Provide input to and/or create specialist points of view for the market and where appropriate present at industry events.
- Work with Customer Managers, Technical Architects, Solution Designers and senior levels on client site, such as CIO and CTO’s.

- Extensive experience of and participation in delivery of technical infrastructure solutions
- Strong consulting and business development skills
- Proven experience architecting multi-product infrastructure in complex, large user population, technical environments
- Can evaluate possible alternative solutions to technical infrastructure requirements and make well reasoned cases for the way forward
- Understands cost, advantages and disadvantages of various alternatives technical solutions
- Fast learner
- Good people and conflict resolution skills
- Programme delivery experience.
- Track-record of engaging/presenting/reporting at CIO/CTO-level
- Strong people management and leaderships skills and experience
